Humble and steady is how my life goes.

Hold on to many, some friends some foes

Listen as time unwinds all that you know.

Would you pretend to be a wolf in sheep’s clothes?

Or will you lash out with anger exposed?

Let me tell you friend, my life is no joke.

I pushed and I’ve pulled just to reach broke.

How I’m still standing has yet to be known.

Though my heart is still beating, my smile sometimes deceiving,

I will not fold before it’s my time to come home.
